Burgos is a small city with a big university: the UBU spreads its faculties across San Amaro, Río Vena and Hospital del Rey, all less than half an hour apart on foot, with the cathedral and the Espolón promenade in between. Renting here costs considerably less than in Madrid or Barcelona. Our residences are in the centre and in San Agustín, a walk from all three campuses.

Frequently asked questions

How much does student accommodation cost in Burgos?

Rooms in Burgos student residences for the 2026/27 academic year are published here as soon as they are released. Inventory updates daily — check back soon or message us.

Are the residences in Burgos well located?

Yes. In Burgos the nearest residence is just a 18-minute walk from Universidad de Burgos — Hospital del Rey, and every other campus, with real travel times, is in the distance table on this page.

Do I need a UK guarantor to book?

No. Unlike the UK private rental market, which usually requires a UK-based guarantor, student residences let you book by paying upfront or in instalments with no guarantor at all. It's one of the biggest advantages for international students.

What does the price include?

All the essentials: wifi, water, electricity and heating, plus the building's communal areas (gym, study rooms, cinema or laundry depending on the residence). No separate bills, no service charges.

When does the academic year start and when should I book?

The 2026/27 academic year starts in September. Standard tenancies run 44 weeks (September to July) or 51 weeks (full year), and rooms sell out between spring and late summer — the earlier you book, the more studio types you'll have to choose from.
