The University of Alicante (UA) brings together on its San Vicente del Raspeig campus the faculties of Law, Economics and Business, Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Education, plus the Polytechnic School, which houses engineering and architecture. It is considered one of the most beautiful and greenest campuses in Europe, with a library open until late, sports facilities and a very international atmosphere. The Universidad Miguel Hernández, with campuses in Elche and Sant Joan d'Alacant, is the nearby alternative for Medicine and Health Sciences.
To live next to campus, San Vicente del Raspeig is the obvious choice: student flats, supermarkets and bars at the faculty door, with lower prices than in the centre.
