A safe rental platform built specifically for international and Erasmus students in Italy. Every landlord is verified and every listing comes with a proper legal contract. Designed for students moving abroad, with multilingual support in English, Spanish and Italian.

Italy's largest property portal. Huge stock, but it's built for local residents. Most listings are in Italian and landlords usually prefer tenants with Italian paperwork (codice fiscale, local employment). Moderate scam risk and no built-in protection for international students.

Idealista Italy is familiar to Spanish students and has a clean interface, but its stock in Italy is smaller than Immobiliare's. A few listings are in English. Landlords are not verified and the payment flow offers no protection for the tenant.

Spotahome offers virtual tours so Erasmus students can book without visiting in person. Decent for remote booking, but the service fee is steep (8–12% of monthly rent) and prices tend to run 15–20% above market. Flats are verified, though the booking process is slow.

Facebook groups like "Erasmus Milano 2026", "Affitti studenti Roma" or "Stanze Bologna" are very active and prices are reasonable, but the scam risk is the highest of any channel. There is no verification and no payment protection. Useful to find flatmates among other Erasmus students — never to send a deposit.

HousingAnywhere targets international students and covers most Italian university cities. The interface is in English and the booking process is secure with payment protection. Prices sit slightly above market, but you get more guarantees than on generic Italian rental sites.
